Programming and content of module I
In this module of the
painting initiation course
we will deal with an important topic such as the necessary materials to draw and paint that we will use during the course.
We will analyze the composition of each of them and learn how to use them correctly through practical exercises.
We will deepen in aspects such as techniques for the use of charcoal, we will explore the handling of acrylic paint and we will acquire all the necessary knowledge about oil paintingand the use and order of the indispensable complements for painting and drawing.

Item 1 - Charcoal for lace

You will learn, gradually, to work with charcoal, starting with easy charcoal drawings, that is to say, charcoal drawings for beginners, to end up being able to make your own charcoal portraits.
We will teach you how to use all the materials and techniques you need to make your charcoal paintings.

- Frame primer

- Spatulas and scrapers

We are going to talk in depth about the materials and tools we are going to work with(types of brushes, types of paper for charcoal, oil and acrylic,…). We will also see how to clean them, once we have finished working, to keep them in optimal conditions.

In the following lessons you will learn, among other things, what is acrylic painting, what is oil painting and how to make drawings with acrylic paint and oil painting in an easy and beginner friendly way. We will show you all the techniques and materials you need to know so that, when you finish the course, you will be able to make complex and modern oil paintings and acrylic paintings.
Item 4 - Auxiliary tools

We will review those complementary materials that support us when painting pictures (some of them very necessary to facilitate our work sessions with charcoal, oil and acrylic).
Thanks to these tools, we will be able to work in a much more comfortable and relaxed way, avoiding smudging the charcoal or taking the wrong measurements for our drawing with oil paint or acrylic paint.
